soya kebabs

Soya is a very good source of protein. So we should try to use it differently in our meal. Here we are going to make soya kebabs which is the combination of chana dal , soya and some spices. So now lets start it.





Have a look on ingredients:

11/2 cup soak chana dal

1 cup soak soya granules
5 pods garlic
3 inch peice ginger
2 whole red chilli
1/2 tsp cumin seed
2-3 cinnamon stick
2 small green cardamom
1 bid cardamom
1/2 tspn black pepper
2 cloves
salt to taste
round onion for garnishing


Method:

Add all ingredients with soaked chana dal and soaked soya granules
Put all in a pressure cooker and cook till 2-3 whestle
After that put the cooked mixture in mixture and grind it
After grinding make small round equal balls of mixture and little pressed it to get into the tikki shape.




 Now shallow fry all the kebabs on tawa and garnish with onion and serve hot with hare pudine ki chutni.






oots upma recipe

As we all know oot is a very healthy meal for all and also very helpful in weight loosing as it regulates body cholesterol. Apart from all that some people ignore it because of its taste. Some found it is not very good in taste. So lets we try to make some tasty upma with oots.






Lets take a look on ingredeints:

1 cup oot
1/2 onion finely chopped
1 tomato finely chopped
1 green chilli chopped
1 whole red chilli
1/2 tsp rai dana ( musturd seed)
1 pinch hing
1 byte grated ginger
4-5 curry leaves
few chopped coriander
1 tblspn olive oil
salt to taste

Method

Heat oil in a pan
Add mustard seed, hing, curry leaves and ginger
add green chilli and red chilli when cracker add onion
saute it until onion becomes pink now add tomatoes
when tomatoes get mild add oots and moist it with light water
add salt
now garnish with coriander and serve hot.

Besan Ki kadhi


Basan is made of chana so besan have all the properties of chana. kadhi is a very good combination with rice. So lets take a look on ingredients:


Serves for 4

Ingredients for pakori:

Besan 1 cup
½ tbl cumin seeds
¼ tbl red chilli powder
1 pinch oh of hing
Salt according to taste
Oil for frying

For curry:

!/2 cup besan
300 gm yoghurt
½ tbl cumin seeds
1 whole red cilli
I pinch of hing salt according to taste
2 tbl oil

Method:

For pakori 

make thick mixture of besan with water
Fold in the mixture to ensure removal of lumps
Add cumin seeds, hind, red chilli and salt
Now heat the oil in a pan
Make small rounds of mixture as pakori and deep fry all of them
Take away from heat and put away

For Curry

Make a thin mixture of besan , youghurt and water
Heat a deep pan on gas and put oil
When oil heats add whole red chilli, cumin seeds and a pinch of hing
Add turmeric powder, light sauté and put above curry mixture
Keep it on flame until it boils, after some time heat off the gas and add pakori into the curry

Serve with I tbl deshi ghee and Rice.

Masala Chana Dal with Lauki Combination

Masala Chana Dal with Lauki Combination is a very healthy food as chana dal is a very good source of protein, cobohydrate, Vitamin B, Folic Acid and several minerals and Lauki (doodhi/ ghia) is also have several nutritious values. So lets take a look on this healthy and tasty recepie…



Serves for 3

Ingredients :

1 cup chana dal
1  medium size lauki
2 tbl spn oil
1 medium onion (finely chopped)
1 tbl  ginger garlic paste
1 tomato (finely chopped)
½ tbl cumin seeds (jeera)
1 pinch of hing
2 Whole Red Chilles
½ tbl turmeric powder
½ tbl coriander powder
½ tbl Garam Masala Powder
½ tbl Dry Mango powder
Salt according to taste
Few chopped cilantro (hara dhania)

Method:

Wash dal with water and soak for 1 hour
Peel and Chopped lauki (small  pieces)
After one hour of soaking put the soaked dal in cooker with lauki and water. And put the cooker on heat for cooking
After  1 whistle move away the cooker from heat and put a deep fry pan on heat
Heat the oil in pan and add jeera, red whole chilles and hing when jeera and chillies crackers
Add chopped onion and sauté it after that add ginger garlic paste to it when it goes light brown  add coriander powder, turmeric powder and garam masala and sauté for ½ min
Add tomatoes in it and sauté until it goes some soft
Now Add already cooked chana dal to fry pan and cooked it for 10 minutes

Garnish with Hara Dhania

Enjoy this healthy and tasty lauki chana with Roti or Chawal.
